MBBS Admission Process in JD Study Abroad

To study MBBS abroad include a lot of formalities, but the education consultant of JD Study Abroad is always there to make the entire process simple and easier for the students.

How to apply

The MBBS prospectus along with the application form can be obtained from the JD Study Abroad. You need to fill the application form along with self-attested photocopies of the required documents which we have mentioned below need to be submitted.

What is the eligibility criteria?

To study MBBS abroad, the candidate should complete the 10+2 education in Science stream taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the core subjects with minimum 50% marks. On the other hand, in the post-graduation course, the student should complete graduation in medical along with one year of internship from any recognized college or university by the Medical Council of the respective country.

To get MBBS Admission letter

Any foreign students can get admission for MBBS who are fulfil the required eligibility criteria as mentioned above. And of the respective country, the admission starts on first come first serve basis from 1st July to 1st October each and every year. Once approved, the admission letter is being issued by the International relations department of the respective university.
If the student is eligible, he or she will be issued MBBS admission letter by confirming a seat in a particular medical university.

Getting an Invitation Letter

Once the documents are submitted to the JD Study Abroad we go through it in a detailed way and finally submit them to the university official website. Once approved the student will get admission letter within 2 to 3 working days. Following are the documents which you need to submit to get the invitation letter. You only have to submit the scanned copy of the documents through email:

  • The main page of the International Passport along with the photo, date of birth and the validity such as date of issue as well as expiry.
  • Educational Documents starting from Std 10 to 10+2 and for the postgraduate degree, you need to submit all the documents up to Bachelor Degree.

Once we get the invitation letter from the university, we will send it to your present address via courier.

Visa Formalities

The students have to visit the nearest Embassy of the particular country they wish to study MBBS abroad and check whether they require Visa. As soon as you get the original invitation letter, you have to contact the Foreign Embassy in your country. There you will get all the required information about the list of document that a student needs. Following are the documents which should be submitted to the Foreign Embassy for getting a Student Visa:

  • Application Form
  • Original International Passport
  • 8 Passport Size Photographs.
  • Original Invitation Letter
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • HIV/AIDS test
  • Marksheets and Certificates of 10th grade and 10+2 level.
  • Birth Certificate
  • Medical Insurance.
  • Bank Statement

Entry in a foreign land

To get an entry in another country and to get admitted to the university you need the following documents to be submitted:

  • Passport
  • Visa
  • Original invitation letter
  • Complete education certificate which also include mark sheet and translated copy of certificates and certified by a notary from the native Embassy.
  • Medical Health Certificate (original in English and translated in their local language and certified by a notary or by the Embassy)
  • HIV/AIDS-free original documents and translated in the foreign language by Embassy.
  • Medical Insurance policy
  • 18 passport size photos (coloured with a matte finish).

Following are the additional documents for students while going to Post Graduation Degree or PhD:

  • Degree certificates, 2 legal copies of the degree certificates, 2 translated copies by Embassy for carrying out the procedure.
  • Marksheet of all academic year which includes studied subjects, marks and hours of the subjects, 2 legal copies of mark sheets, 2 translated copies of the mark sheets in the foreign language and certified by Embassy or by the notary.
  • One of our official representatives will be meeting the student at the airport. However, he or she must be informed about the flight details such as flight number, time and city of arrival and the name of the airport before 7 days of arrival along with the scanned copy of the flight ticket to our official email address.
  • The student will not be permitted to get entry into the territory if our representative is not present at the airport along with the power of attorney from the particular medical university. This is the rule of the Immigration Department of the European country.
  • Once you reached the place of study, you need to be registered in the local authorities within 3 working days.

So these are all the procedures which you need to follow and carry all the documents that we have mentioned above before leaving your country. As the immigration officials will ask for all these documents.

Important Information:

  • The students need to bring tuition fee, hostel fee and other charges in cash or travel cheques as mentioned in the program which the students have selected.
  • When the student is questioned by the immigration authorities about the tuition fee and various other charges then he or she need to bring extra money for personal safety.
